Opened up app info today to see 3.5 GB of cache. No images saved. Anyone else have this?

This seems very high and something we will look into. I wonder how much of this is related to new versions due to active development. We’ll look into it!

How long have you been using it? I’m only a few days in with this app and my cache was 216MB, curious how that compares.

I’m at 414MB in my cache and I’ve only been using since last Friday iirc. It also hasn’t been my main Lemmy app the whole time, and I haven’t been on it a ton

About a week. I’ve been using it for maybe 30 minutes a day.

I just looked and I also got 2,2gb. Which seems like a lot to me, but I’m also using primarily liftoff - and I’m a heavy user (gotta fuel my addiction since reddit became a no no)

Would be interested in how this compares to other lemmy apps/reddit, as data usage is not no concern for me

    Just looked at mine: 1.89GB.

Am jumping back and forth between Liftoff, Connect and Jerboa.

Cache does seem to build up pretty quickly, can soon reach a couple of hundred MBs, I’ve just been clearing it every other day or so…🤷🏻‍♂️

1.83GB here, been using Liftoff as my main app since it was first shared on GitHub, v0.9.4 I think was my first version.
