    Maybe I’m connecting the dots too much, but is it surprising that there’s higher exertion when there’s also higher focus? If I fall into the zone easier, it kinda makes sense that I’m going to exert myself more. That’s half the point of being in that flow state: you don’t notice exertion as much.

      Yeah, does it cause more exertion or allow for more exertion

      And from another angle, does higher exertion imply a better workout? Though it says “feelings of exertion”, so it could mean a lower tolerance to activity.

    Good info. CBD users didn’t report exerting as much. The runners ran 31 seconds slower but researchers said it was not statistically significant and that’s funny to me.
