I don’t think it would’ve mattered for wfc…we had so many unfortunate freak injuries in key positions. Hopefully everyone is progressing well and be back early in the season.
Idk, even just being able to play McCabe/Catley in the backline instead of up front would have been a big deal. Obviously Russo isn’t a winger but it’s not like we always play with wingers anyway lol. Hell, just giving an alternative option to Blackstenius would be a decent deal. Probably wouldn’t change things in the WSL but I could see it mattering in the UWCL ngl, especially in the Wolfsburg game where we just needed some other option and Hurtig was (probably?) rushed back.
