The restaurant management adventure game received crossover DLC with indie hit Dredge last month.
Glad to see a cute indie game have so much success but I’ve got to confess that it lost me about 20 hours in with all the seemingly endless mini games and challenges
Maybe give Dredge a go. It’s a very different game, but aims to have a tight, polished core gameplay loop. It’s the same thing that holds it back after you finish the story imo, but if you’re looking for a consistent experience it provides one
Played Dredge last fall already and cannot recommend it enough. Holding out for some good story DLC because the world is so fun to explore
Exactly right. I was really disappointed and didn’t make it that far.
The pacing is wrong, it comes at you way too fast, and it’s a shame because it could be good. But as you said, it keeps throwing mini events at you while you are trying to figure out what fish the catch for the menu etc etc
