Hey, Azzu, question. Why do you not crosspost your “service” threads like this one to all other Lemmy Dota 2 communities?
I’m not sure what’s the crosspost etiquette on this platform, because I never saw anyone even mention it and sidebars don’t include information on it. And even if there’s one, I’m not sure the users who break it atm would really be doing something wrong. I mean, right now, those comms do not have these threads, so you’re not really doing anything other than add value, and if it is a problem, then people would have to speak up on it which in turn informa or establishes that etiquette.
I messaged the moderators on the other communities and they seem to not be on Lemmy anymore. I thought that it might make more sense to keep activity in a community that can be moderated.
Hmmm… I wonder if it isn’t a good idea to ask for ownership of the communities. I’ve seen people do it before, even across instances.
Is there a single active moderated Dota community on any of the lemmys?
Right now there’s not really any very active one, period, so to say. Azzu is the moderator here and keeping it afloat, and I trust what he said that the moderators on the older ones are gone. The other ones are much smaller and younger.Forget it, vort3, moderator of dota2 on lemmy.ml is still active. And the other ones are still much smaller.
