There are so many people quoted complaining about this for different reasons

      • “Didn’t you say you don’t recognise the ICC”
      • “Isn’t it your policy to support one side here”
      • “Isn’t there already a police investigation [into one of the sides]”

and of course the one which police must be familiar with hearing almost every time they do policing:

      • “Shouldn’t you be focusing on the real criminals”

Must be weird to hear that last one from the Home Secretary instead of from someone annoyed that they got pulled over!

I didn’t see it mentioned whether the people taking witnesses statements at the airport would usually be fighting gangs in the street? It seems like airports usually have plenty of police dedicated to airport stuff like this.

If Boris were running the show, he’d just disarm any pesky investigators by offering them a cup of tea; all while using his best harmless buffoon voice, of course.

Police doing what they are supposed to do. Similar to their work around ISIS etc. The ONLY difference here is that this is Israel. Remember when Margaret Thatcher referred to Nelson Mandela as “that awful terrorist”. The Times supported that view too.

To be fair, Nelson Mandela was sorta a terrorist. He wasn’t as bad as his wife (she spoke at length about doing stuff like putting car tyres around enemies necks, filling the tyres with petrol, then lighting em up), but he did turn a blind eye to some pretty despicable shit that his supporters were doing. For a very long time Amnesty international didn’t support him. Personally, I think the reason he was ignoring these things was good, but the acts themselves sorta don’t justify it. But then, you have to do something to overthrow the oppressors and I’m a white male so I know I will never truly understand the motivations for these acts and can’t really judge anyone for em.

In case anyone was still unclear about which side the worst people are taking in this, BoJo saves the day by erasing all ambiguity
