Corkscrew/Armor Piercing - Reconstruction/Hatchling
Reconstruction is very good, especially when dealing with Champions. Less worry about not having ammo to pop a barrier. Hatchling will hopefully get better with threadling buffs coming in the near future.
Hatchling is nice but I’ve never been a huge fan of reconstruction on primaries. It only kicks in after 4 seconds of not shooting so if you use it like a primary it doesn’t activate very often.
I think it works best when it’s the anti-champion weapon, and you use something else as a “primary” (trace, glave, etc)
It works best on very large or very small mags. Primaries all have medium size mags so simply reloading them is much faster than any alternatives.
This is the situation I’m thinking about. Whip out the scout when you need to stun a champ and not have to worry about it being loaded because of Reconstruction or Overflow for this scout. Your other weapons or abilities are doing all the heavy lifting.
