I didn’t like this first episode…

I didn’t care for any of the characters, the big fight looked expensive to animate, but there was never any sense that the sword dude was ever in danger.

Nor did I get any sense of the plot’s direction or why I should care.

Probably a drop for me.

I thought this episode was ok. I’m not familiar with the property at all, so I really enjoyed the fakeout. Like the other commenter said, the big fight looked great, but there’s not really any indication of where things are headed from here. I’ll give it another episode or two before I give it a nay or yay.
