If George Washington existed today, he would ask two questions: “where are all the slaves,” followed by “can we bring back slavery?”

He might also have questions about what the hell women and poor people are doing voting.

That skibidi toilet thing is (shamefully) interesting to me but I’m still not sure about watching it 😅

The joke is kinda making fun of it since it was orginally a meme for younger kids

I watched a bunch of them and it actually kinda impressed me. It starts off with just dumb animation jank but develops fast into something you can actually get kinda invested in. Looking back it feels like the guy knew exactly what he was doing from the beginning with is kinda scary in a good way. Prime example of what TVTropes call stylistic suck, IMO.

Eventually it gets kinda boring, though that moment can come sooner or later, depending on your tastes and how bored you are when you start watching. But overall it’s got buch of positive qualities you would not expect going into it.

I’m not personally interested, but i can hardly judge people for liking gmod shitposting. If anything i’m just impressed it’s still relevant nowadays.

If George Washington were to come back today, his first words would probably be “Let me out! It’s so dark!”

This is conservative propaganda aimed at making young people disinterested in voting.

Nobody liberal says Washington was “woke”. Nobody liberal says woke at all unless they’re mocking conservatives. Only conservatives label things as woke.

The punchline uses “skibiti” as a sort of “both sides” narrative. Instead of actually considering the issues just do something absurd and don’t take either side.
