What will happen to Electric Beach?
The view facing inland will be a bit different as the power plant will be demolished.
And the unusual characteristics of the beach will be removed?
The view of the power plant goes away. You’d need to request a copy of the planning documents to find out if anything else changes
The power plant’s cooling pipes go out into the ocean and shoot warm water, which is super fun (and dangerous) to swim among. It’s probably going away… Yeah, coal is bad, but that was awesome fun.
