Today I’m wearing my custom blend from Frankly Try This. It’s a smoked sandalwood and strawberry blend, with a bit of vanilla. I’m really happy with how it turned out, and the customization process couldn’t have been easier. If you’re ever in the market for a custom blend, I definitely recommend this shop.

No fragrance today, but I’ve got a mix of “mainstream” and indie makeup on. The indie stuff is Fyrinnae Tyr and Winter Solstice eyeshadows, and Lip Shimmer in Cinnamon and Peaches from Willow Tree Minerals (an Etsy seller).

As much as I’ve been really loving Fyrinnae’s loose shadows recently, and as lovely a color as Tyr is, this one just didn’t seem to work well for me. I may have to experiment with a different primer.

Wearing The Abbey from Posie today (notes: sweet rosewood, white and red sandalwood, four vanillas, a spark of coriander and cardamom) which I think is a lovely layered sweet rich sandalwood. Has a little something beyond many sandalwood vanillas.
