    Depends on the industry and job you’re trying to get and how many years of experience you have. The general rule is you should be spending 8 hours a day applying to jobs.

    If you have no work, then looking for jobs is your full-time work. Which means you should be spending ~8 hours a day applying. Depending on the job you’re looking for and your experience, you could be applying at the rate of 1 application per hour or 1 application per 5 minutes.
