Pictures of a knitted/crotcheted bush turkey standing in various locations at the University of Queensland, including on a gravel-paved path in front of the sandstone Forgan Smith building, on a bookshelf among Law textbooks, and on the kerb of a road, with a real bush turkey in the background.

While our students enjoy their break, Brian the Bush Turkey is scoping out the best study spots for 2024! 📚 Where should he check next? 🦃🎓 Thanks to kn0tted_up on IG for sharing Brian’s adventures 📸💜 #BrianTheBushTurkey #BrianGoesToUni #UniOfQLD #UQ #UQLife
I would love to see Brian by the Pitch Drop experiment in Parnell!
Go Brian, Brian seems like a good lad!
Is it feasible to take up croctcheting cute animals for a living? By living I mean pay the bills, rent and essential extras like dental.
No, I don’t think so. I know someone who does it on the side, and the projects just take far too much time compared to the money that gets made. If you enjoy it, great, make some small money on the side and have fun with it, but I don’t think there’s any way to do it efficiently enough that you can survive on it alone.
Probably not, but you could try it part time in your free time and see if people buy them.
Oooh, Brian on a jacaranda carpet in the Great Court!
