Do you remember the story about 8-year-old Ivan, who collected money for Lego, but decided to spend it on FPV drones for the Ukrainian army?

We thought here and decided to thank Ivan and gave him 2 sets of Lego!

This is a gift in gratitude for his act.

The Russians took away their childhood from Ukrainian children, but they will not be able to take away their humanity.

I am very glad that we have such a new generation growing up, which is helping its country from an early age.

Its amendable for sure, self-sacrifice for a greater good but i hate how “child spends money for toys on donating weapons for war” gets framed as a feel good story.

It’s good propaganda and encourages other young people to be considerate of others. The situation is dire so stories to fill a gap in their daily news is money well spent (for the Lego sets). I’m thinking that the dad might be a military veteran so the boy might have thought about this a lot. The boy might be inspired to do great things when his defining moments present themselves. Who knows. War time stories are always going to be a little difficult

This kid is a better person than most grown adults in the world.
