According to Zelensky, there are “clear facts” that many of the parts in Russian missiles are made by “companies from the free world.” He wants allies to respond more actively to Moscow’s attempts to circumvent sanctions by preventing it from producing weapons.
Bless this man’s heart, but if he thinks dismantling the global Iron Triangle is more of an achievable goal than conquering Putin’s genocidal regime, then he is sadly mistaken. The US’s MICC is a heavily unregulated war machine supplying parts to bad actors across the world; other first-world countries are no exception. The roots of this thistle go back long before Eisenhower calling the system out and has only proliferated since then. It would take a near-miracle, a very strong blaze to fight this fire. Almost seems like we would need some person with a battery for a heart wielding bleeding-edge military technology in the form of a metal exosuit to stand a chance against this corruption… /s
