This is interesting! Not sure what the dev cycle is gonna look like for the Switch 2 (or what a typical cycle is for OG Switch), but if third party devs are working on their games for Switch 2, I’m hoping this means that the console and 1st party launch games are closer to coming out than I thought!

This is certainly idealistic thinking and I failed to consider there could be a big showing of 3rd party games at launch buuuuuut, could be sweet idk :D

That’s cool. Not buying one until they release Gary Bowser from a lifetime of slavery for selling modded hardware.

Cause tendo knows they need tos tep up their game to even make a minor dent in the steam deck…Nintendo is just…meh lately. Overpriced, boring and bland.

Look, I want a Steam Deck from the deepest depths of my heart and I love what it offering… but this take just isn’t it. The Steam Deck is said to have sold “multiple millions” of units, lets say generously around 10 million. The Nintendo Switch has sold 132 million units. The Steam Deck couldn’t hope to begin threatening the Nintendo Switch.

Though in all fairness, I don’t think it needs to. It’s much more of a specialized device rather than something you give to your kids.

No one want to see the Deck beating the Switch selling. Hell, i personally hope that even after the release of the second console, the switch 1 will keep having a wide and rich variety of new games releases…

…Otherwise, what would i play on my Yuzu emulator on the Deck.
