I go between new age to ambient techno to dubstep. A really good site for classical is Radio Klassik Stephansdom. I don’t speak German so it’s all noise to me. I heard and old drum and bass track I forgot about so I may try that again.

FWIW I wasn’t paying attention. I’m not a woman if that matters. I do struggle with ADD a bit.

Not to me. One of my favorite subreddits before the ‘jump’ was r/malelivingspace.

Are you from the States? I’m only curious because you wrote ADD and it’s been ADHD since the 1980s. I’m wondering if it’s called ADD elsewhere.

I am in the states…and I was a teenager by the time things were formally put into the ADHD bucket. I might be more ADHD inattentive per WebMD but I’m def not introverted or hyperactive. I dunno.

I didn’t even know about /malelivingspace before the purge. I’ll keep an eye out for it in the Fedi. Thanks for making me feel welcome!

Hey! That’s me too. ADHD inattentive. Cool beans.

Lo-fi is my go-to. And if I’m too agitated, I settle down with bilateral music that goes from one ear to to the other.

depends on what I have to do. cleaning up beat or metal. mindless repetive stuff (fast) electro (without lyrix). for studying I have to find that one song and then it is hyperfocus time

For me it’s good old white noise. Sometimes with some brown noise if I am feeling adventurous. Everything else is too distracting somehow.

      What is brown noise?

Brown noise is a deeper, low-frequency sound with more of a bass tone and less of a hiss than white noise.
