I saw it as a teen and remember it had quite an impact. Can’t remember if it’s any good and worth a watch as an adult so would be interested to hear others opinions?

    One of those rare cases where the movie adaptation far surpasses the book. Also, if you liked McKellan as a fascist in this movie, check out his Richard III. They decided to set it in the 1930s,

    I actually never watched this one and was thinking about it randomly the other day. Maybe I’ll give it a go this week.

      It’s worth it. It is a movie that builds tension the entire time, starting slow and snowballing until the end when things seem inevitable.
