    I’m guessing that the lookup feature can’t find a suitable candidate so it elects to say nothing.

          Maybe it’s lollipop, using a gingerbread launcher. It doesn’t have a navigation bar. Ice cream sandwich introduced the navigation bar iirc. But you’re right, the transparent toast came with lollipop.

            I think that is because it’s using TouchWiz. Samsung’s twist on Android.

        It already has the playstore which was 2 years post gingerbread.

        To me it looks like what my SGS3 looked like on ICS or JB. That is definitely touchwiz though.

          I see my mistake. Samsung’s touchwiz got me here, i never used it and it looks to me like the older launcher.
