There are two kind of “tasks” that stress me out: Ones that stress me out if they’re not done, like washing dishes, and ones that stress me out to do, like writing emails. Both will stress me out until they’re done. But washing dishes reduces stress as I do it and writing emails spikes my stress level as I do it. I avoid the second kind until my baseline stress is low enough to handle the spike, but since there’s also the ongoing “it’s not done” stress, sometimes that never happens.

Currently going through this. Was sick for two weeks in December and had to fill out forms for the employment agency in order to get sick pay.

I procrastinated filling out the forms for over 8 weeks and now it’s too late. Missing out on ~700€ because I’m too stupid to be allowed to exist and am stealing oxygen from worthwhile people…

Oh, this sounds incredibly relatable, I’m doing something vaguely equivalent right now.

Except I found out in the meantime that I may not even be eligible in the first place, which they could’ve told me right away, from the very first document I needed to hand in. But apparently, I am forced to go through the whole process anyway.

What a weirdly bitchy and negative comment
