I love Dan’s videos. This one was special to me because I watched that Jamie Oliver show contemporaneously and agreed with him at the time. I also love cooking, talking about food, watching cooking shows, etc. Dan really got me to see things a little differently with this one.

I haven’t come across the channel before but definitely enjoyed the video. It’s interesting how some of the most random topics you wouldn’t have thought about otherwise can actually be really engaging and thought provoking, respect for the skill involved in that.

My introduction to Dan was this series of videos https://youtu.be/qzk9N7dJBec?si=jXBVVXwaYM-izJ6a

They’re a lot of fun. Dan tended to do more film analysis than he does now. But his videos have always been high quality and interesting.

IMO, this is his magnum opus https://youtu.be/YQ_xWvX1n9g?si=vtqK9do28bcoRkwn

Yes, it is a 2+ hour video about NFTs, but it’s phenomenal. I’ve watched it all the way through at least 3 times, and I feel like I glean a little bit more from it each time.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this is one of the best channels on YouTube. If anyone disagrees I am more than willing to discover a creator who consistently produces essays of the same quality (yes I know about hbomberguy. I did say one of)

Meanwhile the rest of the world has a war on Jamie’s butchering of recipes.
