Imagine being the foreign power who started this online propaganda campaign weaponizing American stupidity and seeing it work this well.
The return on investment is absolutely insane. Just keep making shitposts on 4chan and a few years later the United States is on the verge of just fucking imploding.
Ideally the US would pull out all military and worthwhile infrastructure out of the state, tell citizens to leave, and use it as a buffer state for any migrants trying to get to the US, but they have huge refineries and cant allow states to secede.
