I’ve played the second one quite a lot - is the first one still worth playing over, you know, just playing more of the second?
The gameplay in the second one was pretty much an all-around improvement over the first one, but I preferred the original’s story. You won’t get the full effect of DQB1’s story unless you’ve played the original Dragon Quest, though, since they’re closely connected.
