Sure I get it, it’s part time job requiring both low skill and low hours invested. But how can we consider our children’s safety as such a low priority? Should we instead pay the crossing guard by how well they perform at keeping the kids out of harms way? Sounds like we should reevaluate our priorities.
12k annually is literally considered poverty in the US.
