Can anybody out there even vaguely explain this to me?
The meme expresses discontent with life. The author states that all they do is either rot in bed (be a depressed sad sack) or perform (putting on a mask in public and pretend to not be depressed or just pretend to want to be there) and everything else is something of a mixture of those two. The meme references femininity as a sarcastic homage to messages of female empowerment and acceptance. It is sarcastic and reinforces the message of discontent.
