So far random number Jesus just seems out to get me, can see this mode as extra tilting.

I haven’t had an opportunity to deep dive. But it’s been a learning experience. Just when I think I have a sense of their deck they’ll play a random hobgoblin or something.

But it’s interesting. You get a sense of what your opponent likes to do and their deck over time. I don’t know if I’ll be super into it. I haven’t lost yet but I haven’t ventured into gold. I think I would find it extremely frustrating if I end up taking it too seriously.

Part of my enjoyment of snap is I can play very short games and feel like I got a lot of out it because I like the actual mechanics of the game. I’ve been loving Bounce since Kitty came out. I’ve been purposefully tanking myself in rank so I keep it casual. I naturally will end up in the 80’s and start getting too serious and frustrated lol. But I’m one of those people who can win and still be pissed so I just avoid the grind lol.

I hate it. Marvel Snap’s ranking with betting cubes has made playing a competitive card game online against other players so much less frustrating for me. Conquest brings all that back. Sure I still bet cubes, but I can’t nope out of a bad match-up. Incredibly frustrating for me at the moment. Maybe I’m not good enough of a player or have enough experience with a single deck for Conquest.

I don’t see myself playing Conquest in the future. That’s okay though, ranking is still there and the rewards don’t force me to play.

I like Conquest, but I wish the matches were shorter. I never really felt like I needed to think about how much time I had available before starting a ranked match, but I really do before starting a Silver or higher conquest match.

Also, for the high stakes of Infinity I don’t like mobile.

I’m close to infinite so I’ve been focusing on that but it seems ok. It’s kinda weird to play so many games and know each others decks. It will be awesome for getting to know new builds and not sacrifice your climb though

I love conquest. It’s great to have a place to test decks and do quests that isn’t the ladder, but isn’t entirely casual either. The only thing that annoys me is the win/lose animation taking forever.

Yes, I’ve come around to it as well.

Once I stopped caring about winning the grind and changed my attitude to similar as yours; it’s just a fun place to test decks worry-free or complete quests, it becomes so much better!

It’s interesting that this in this mode they’ve embraced the more harsh language and animations - in ladder you’ll never be told that you’re a loser, but you definitely will in conquest mode. I’ve been tilted only once on ladder, but like every other session on conquest.

I’ve been playing a lot of silvers and proving grounds while the rest of the meta stabilizes a bit (and I find a deck I both enjoy and can get cubes from). I do really like the repeated games, it gives more of a poker aspect to it, tracking what cards have been played and which your opponent could have seen from you. It feels strategic and more solved as the games go on, which I like.

I have no sense of if the shop is worth - and I do suspect as the tools and meta get solved the later tiers will start to feel samey/grindy/luck based. Curious if anyone knows a good (free, ideally open source) deck tracker that plays well with the mode.
