The Dallas Mavericks are acquiring Washington from the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for Grant Williams, Seth Curry and a first-round pick.

Charlotte will now need to cut three players in order to execute its two trades involving Gordon Hayward and PJ Washington — likely Frank Ntilikina, Kyle Lowry and James Bouknight.
Too bad Grant had to get overpaid. He’s a nice role player on defense.
