For me it was that since early onset Alzheimer’s is mentioned in two episodes in a row (In Binary it’s mentioned to be one of the illnesses that Sergey Ushanka could’ve suffered from, and in Held in Customs the post-statement portion of the episode it comes out that Vincent Yang had it) it would be revealed that the End was involved somehow. Also once the subject of rituals started playing a larger role I thought that it would turn out that the second law of thermodynamics was the result of a successful End ritual.

    I only started listening to the podcast after mag200 aired so I didn’t really stop to make theories, I binged the whole show in just a few days. The only one I can really think of is that I was expecting Jonah Magnus to be more of a Jon character? You know, too curious for their own good but ultimately a good and kind person. I was so prepared to like this man. Probably bc everything we learn about him at the beginning comes from old letters that all start with “my dearest Jonah” :^
