Darker and grittier can sometimes mean better.

Isn’t this the one where the producers bragged about not having played the games, and used some generic sci-fi script off the shelf instead?
I think they canned that guy and have a new show runner.
I like almost everything except the writing.
Characters are cool (wish Master Chief had his helmet on), locations are decent to good, costume, set design, etc. It’s all pretty great, but… Are they copying this writing from a 14 year old who’s posting it on fan forums?
Looking forward to the next episode. I’ve really enjoyed the series so far.
