The first I heard of this game was an article like “no one has heard about this game”
Yeah, I’m really not sure what happened to those $40M for marketing.
I wanted this game so bad from the moment I heard about it. Beautiful? Magic shooter? Something legitimately new instead of a rehash? It checked every box for me until it actually came out. Performance issues and shit writing. That’s what I get for trusting EA.
Regardless of what the numbers are saying, it’s a tough industry right now and I don’t think a lot of people are buying a lot of games of any kind since everyone’s so jaded about the destructive practices of the industry. It isn’t going to be about a plucky little underdog coming in and changing everything at this point, it’s about an entire industry that has lost the faith of its customers.
