But but but… Consoles are the AAA industry. Indies have a chance because of PC gaming.

What do you mean? We already have them. For example, Dark Souls makes me go AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA all the time.

            you are in a stadium
a man walks up on stage. he yells at the top of his lungs for 30 minutes straight
            the crowd goes wild
            suddenly the lights go out
the lights come back on slowly
you see “The elder scrolls V: Skyrim”
            The first AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA…A game

Honestly the XBLA (Xbox live arcade) kicked off a lot of indie games, that was short lived though it differently has the best chance on PC

The best thing to come out of Microsoft’s push into the indie space was XNA, which even now stands as one of the best game development frameworks of all time. It’s a shame they murdered it in its crib.

(I know Monogame/FNA exist, but I’ll always wonder where the project could have gone with Microsoft-level funding)

Op, are you trying to imply that only peasants wash their hands after using the bathroom? I’m so confused.

These are all very normal things. The joke is that console gamers are normal people, whereas pc gamers are a bunch of hardcore nerds who never wash themselves, never leave home, don’t have a job and don’t know how to interact with women

It’s funny because I always heard that the rich preferred perfumes over bathing, and looked down on peasants for their bathing, especially public baths.

No source. It’s just what I heard. Even if it’s true, who knows what era and people it applied to.

Okay, what do social dynamics and personal hygiene have to do with console players and triple-A games?

Yeah, the title of this post, the meme’s upper text, and the rest are all at odds and I’m just confused as to what OP is going for.

Is the point that consoles are the AAA industry and services normal people with normal needs? How does this mean we should boycott it?

Are we being tongue-in-cheek? Are we not supposed to boycott the AAA industry?

Why does this meme single out ‘console peasants’ as normal people? Is normal bad? Is irregular bad? Is PC bad? But PC gamers also care about gameplay and are regular people? How much sarcasm is supposed to be here?

      OP, WHAT DO YOU MEAN?

I just save $2000 a year in games while nerds argue about how long theirb steam backlog is🤷‍♂️

I only buy PC games if there is a reason. 98% of the time the game is exactly the same except you paid for it, I just rented.

Yeah I have no interest at all with the extra effort and limitations.

I’ll play every game, probably 30 or so a year, day one hassle free. No waiting for cracks, missing multiplayer, missing features, developers get paid.
