Man, why am I like that? I feel like garbage in the morning. Sluggish and stiff. Then I cant think straight till Ive had lunch. Then I feel sluggish after lunch from sitting down. Then finally when its time to clock out, Ive got all this energy and mental clarity. Like all my best productivity happens after 6 PM.

Wait an hour to drink your coffee after waking up, have an actual breakfast that isn’t sugar based cereal, go to sleep earlier, and workout regularly.

Or just quit your dumb job and move to the forest and live off the land.

Then it comes time to fall asleep and my brain is running at full-tilt, wide awake; reliving every last mistake I’ve ever made and how I could do better until I look at the clock and realize it’s been 3 hours.

Post lunch sleepies is the best. I wish I could get that feeling at bedtime each night

I’m not super useful until I’ve had three gallons of ice cream, then I’m stuffed and useful for the rest of the month

And now imagine your self-employed and you’re pretty much in my universe. Customers aren’t people, they are a measure of disturbance. Nevertheless I love my customers, I’m just built that way I guess.

I’ve been using extended release caffeine, it’s great to stop that crash.

As someone else said, a good protein-based breakfast helps not be too hungry for lunch, and I’d add that if caffeine is tough but necessary, switch to black/oolong tea, you can add cream/sugar and it’s close to milk coffee. Much lower caffeine, yet still works.

Seems about right. Let’s be honest 3 hours of actual work is probably the max I’ve ever done. In a single day. Most days 30mins to a hour. This is why everyone actually so busy to keep it this way… Lol
