I always take a walk around my office during lunch. Finally managed to see and also record a firecrest. Such a tiny but cool-looking bird!

I hope Lemmy is updated to make it easy to see feeds from identical communities in the same feed, so people will just post in their favourite instance, not all of them.

Nah, you’re good. People do it all the time. People are just trying to be active in Lemmy so it grows. We are in some of the same communities so I saw it twice. No biggie to me

Woah, does the app pick out each bird from a single recording, or do you have to get it to focus on one?
It will pick out each bird it hears in real time highlighting it on the list. You can watch the app and start to learn the bird calls.
my wife just showed me this app and it is just the coolest
you go from appreciating the noise to picking out the differences
