This video makes me not want to buy anything from Nichia. Nakamura invented a commercially successful product they made billions from, and Nichia rewarded him with nothing.
They harassed him for years to stop working on the things that saved them then gave him 170 dollars per patent and 60k a year then sued the shit out of him when he left. He basically only got enough money from the countersuit to cover his legal expenses after they fought tooth and nail to appeal.
That company deserved to go bankrupt due to their shitty company culture and they punish the one guy that saved them from themselves.

It is a flag set manually, so a malicious/undercover bot would not have it set. It’s more odd than suspicious.I did look into your comments and saw no bot-like ones at all, which is why I asked. Is it like a stylistic decision or are you procrastinating actually developing the bot?

You can set that in your profile, usually benign bot developers set it themselves
Why set it as a dev?
Some bot developers post manually from the same account their bot posts from, and just keep the flag on

Well, I don’t know anything about the creator of this video but it was a nice little documentary. However if they have/had some controversial things, I see where you’re getting at.
I haven’t heard anything controversial about him, and I feel like I would have. Obviously I could have missed something though.
He got called out a few years ago for releasing biased corporate ads disguised as educational content, essentially milking his reputation and audience for a payout

It’s not really clickbait. It sounds like clickbait, but the video is actually very interesting and a compelling watch. Really well put together and worth your time.
It isn’t clickbait you idiot. All you have to do is look at the video. Both of you are a problem, neither of you have actually bothered to look at the content and yet both of you feel very confident in having uninformed opinions about it.
You don’t have to comment if you don’t want to watch the video, you can just not engage with the discussion, that’s allowable.
