I really rate him. He’d be our number 3 and a pretty good one at that. He’d have to go lower in the league table to get first team starting spot and not much chance at winning anything.
He’ll stay.
Really happy with his performances this season, he did a great job and he was always an absolute professional when he didn’t get to play. Hope he will stay with us for a while, he is a really good third option to have.
Weren’t there some briefs about him wanting it, if he didn’t get more playing time?
I haven’t seen those reports, I just know that Italian clubs have an eye on him, but I have not heard that he wants to go…

It’s from March 23. I’m a interview on international duty. He said: “Of course like every player, you want to play every game and obviously I haven’t done that this season. (…) Like I said, I want to play, that’s why I play football, I want to play games, but I haven’t thought about that (a transfer away), right now I’m just focusing on the national team and then of course, the rest of the season with the club. Then in the summer we’ll re-evaluate and see what is best.”
So not as drastic as I remembered it.
