That line about Bonney needing protection really makes it seem like she’s going to stick around, so perhaps we’re getting a new crew member? I’m still not over Carrot and Yamato but I wouldn’t complain if it happened.
I’ve been of the opinion that Bonny will join ever since we learned that she’s an orphan who was raised by a father figure that would later sacrifice himself for her without her knowing. Prime straw hat backstory.

It feels like a cliffhanger for a turn of events. So e.g. Saturn getting really mad and ending, what Kizaru tried with his sword stab - because that truth is too dangerous in his eyes. Or it could also be a trivial message, e.g. that family counts the most in this world - see Kuma and Bonney backstory. I’m uncertain if Vegapunks part ends here or they manage to get him out. But then where to go and hide?
At least there is no break next week. I just hope the next chapter continues and we don’t jump around in the world for some parallel events.
Really seems like vegapunk is gonna die unless chopper can work some serious magic but I doubt it.
I’d say his death triggered the broadcast of the video. It seems that devices were monitoring his heartbeat, and when it became flat, the video starts.
If he really dies, I wish his satellites will upload him in the sunny making him a living boat, being the last member of the crew.
The counter point is that Kizaru cauterized his wounds and he manually triggered his announcement.
I figure he and Bonney will end up with the revolutionary army, Luffy won’t want to deal, he has the end of the grand line to fry.
I love that theorie !! It would make such sens after all the hesitation kizaru showed about what he had to do.
