I tried posting news about this film over at The Crow sub Reddit, years ago. I might as well have told everyone some insult about their mother’s.

This negativity towards the reboot was so strong. I can understand the sentiment but a new film doesn’t affect how you feel about the original. You can ignore it and move on.

I find reboots lazy most of the time unless they do something different to keep it interesting. I’m still going to keep an open mind and I’m looking forward to the first trailer. If it opens in June, they should be any moment now.

I’m kinda meh other than Skarsgard, he’s good.

I just hope some producer isn’t milking the IP.

Funny you should say that, Both Jeff Most and Edward R. Pressman have been producers on all four films and the TV series. Pressman passed away in Jan 2023, but according to IMDb, he’s listed as a producer on the new film as well.

Man I loved the old one. Such a dope revenge thriller.

But skarsgard and fka twigs? This gives me really high hopes. Potential to be really good. I’ll stay optimistic.

More importantly who is replacing Michael Wincott? “Kaw, Kaw! Bang! Fuck, I’m Dead!” Is going to be hard to match.
