Christians are so God damn stupid.
Trump has never once organically attended a church in his life.
He likes easily duped religious folk because they are enculturated to believe strange things and readily give their money away through tithing.
No they’re not, they’re voting for results. They got an abortion ban they’ve been campaigning for since the 70’s because of him. They don’t care about where/how he prays, just about results.
They care about cruelty. They don’t care who gets hurt as long as it’s not them.
Technically since the 80’s, which is important because Roe v. Wade went into effect in 1973 and none of them batted an eye for nearly a decade until it was suddenly murder in 1980.
According to Christian Lore, Donald Trump actually fits the bill of the antichrist.
He’s almost literally the golden calf too
Sam Altman is actually a way better Antichrist candidate. Aside from the obvious apocalyptic capabilities of the tech he’s fucking with, he also checks the numerology box:
Samuel
Harris
Altman
And that last name could be construed to evoke alternative man or germanicized to suggest Old Man, either of which could be made to seem spooky spooky.
It’s like straight out of central casting.
The reason I say trump is and not someone like Altman, the anti Christ is supposed to use the word of Christ to manipulate and corrupt his follower
The antichrist doesn’t simply do evil, he is supposed to have a cult following of believers.

It’s early days with Sam Altman, but the dude sits astride technology that has the potential to further stretch the very fabric of truth. I can’t imagine someone better positioned to manipulate en Masse.

I agree but most Christians I know, having grown up deep in protestant homeschool your kids and spit on abortion doctors territory, ascribe real significance to the numerology of 666 so it’s like stackable stupidity in this example.
