Thanks conservatives. Yes I know you are anti-science. Yes I know you are in favor of privatized profits and socialized losses even when you get no share in the profits. But why did you stupidly fuck up the whole world? You live on the same planet.

Because Jesus will come back and the world will end, long before we see the consequences of these actions, duh

Side question: Are these global maxima more likely in the Northern Hemisphere summer time because 2/3 of the world’s landmass is in the NH?

The earth is going to be irreparably damaged, and morons will still do nothing.

No, the earth will recover as it always does from extinction events. Life will adapt and evolve to fill the empty environmental niches left empty by those species that did not/could not adapt to a warming climate.

What I suspect will be irreparably damaged is modern human civilisation.

"The global heat records reflect the influence of a natural climate cycle as well, with a strengthening El Niño event in the Pacific Ocean. El Niño tends to cause global average temperatures to climb.

What’s up my Madison brother! Yeah she dry out. My lawn is brown and I refuse to water it, lol.

Staying cool here! Yeah, I don’t think I’ve seen it this dry since 2012.

I caved, and watered a little bit over the course of the past two weeks (mostly when watering the garden, potted herbs & tomatoes in the backyard). Thankfully with that rainfall from a few days back, I’ll probably mow the lawn tomorrow…first time in at least three weeks.

Looking at the graph, it looks like we’re in for a few weeks of consecutive hottest days :(
