… are they going to stop kicking themselves in the face any time soon? You can’t just keep endlessly trying to suppress them, an actual authoritarian could start executing people, but you can’t do that. Need a different type of solution. If not, bigger players will start applying pressure–France relies on many allies and business partners.
This is an untenable position. What’s the plan?

The plan is that people need to eat and protests make it harder to support yourself the longer they continue. It’s gotten the West by so far, sadly.
