Welcome to the 24 hour pledge! I’m pledging myself to not drinking today, and invite you to do the same.
Maybe you’re new to c/stopdrinking and have a hard time deciding what to do next. Maybe you’re like me and feel you need a daily commitment or maybe you’ve been sober for a long time and want to inspire others.
It doesn’t matter if you’re still hung over from a three day bender or been sober for years, if you just woke up or have already completed a sober day. For the next 24 hours, let’s not drink alcohol!

Day 24! Saturday company meeting at the local Denny’s. It’s good to love the work I do. Still clinging to my sobriety like a damn shifty-eyed chameleon! Yesterday was a way too fuckin close one over here, but I won out.
I will not drink with you today!

Oh yeah, I know what ya mean… It was the drunk-munchies joint when I was in the Army back in the day… I think it was quite possibly the first time I’ve ever been in Denny’s sober, or in the daylight…
Watched the new Dune movie last night, slept in till 10:30, made French toast, and now I’m working on a video editing project for my sister with my cats jumping all over me while my wife is getting more shuteye. I’m sober and will do another day with y’all, life is good

Fantastic! Highly recommended. Just make sure to empty your bladder and get some snacks since it’s like 2:45 long
