@singapore Do those spam (robotic) calls pay when we pick up the call?

    @alwynispat the point where you pick up tells the bot that the line is active. To them is a small pay day. That’s why I don’t pick up voice calls.

      @unkerplus65 @singapore I think as soon as they dial your number and it rings, means it’s an active number. Thankfully the spams don’t come as local numbers anymore, but I do have to answer oversea numbers now and then.

            I remember that unknown (SG) numbers should only have 8 digits on caller ID, and spoofed spammer numbers have a +65 in front. I just avoid picking those up.

            Not much we can do about overseas numbers, I just don’t pick up unless it’s an expected call with an agreed time
