I have a 6 month old and the scene where SpongeBob is showing all the diapers around the house and the obscenely large pile outside hits so hard.

Babies go through SO MANY DIAPERS!

No, you do. The baby isn’t changing them. Get the hint! /s

A lot of fathers are pretty bad though Source: had a bad father, trying to be a good father myself though

I think this can be stated as a lot of parents are pretty bad. Not just fathers.

But the episode of spongebob was about things bad fathers do. And the episode was fucking great and hit home to a lot of families in an exagerated way. There is no commandment to always have to mention every bit of context and all sides of an issue if you just want to poke fun at something specific. Women who don’t get time off after work and also have to do all the mental tasks while constantly being vigilant, remember and organise everything. That’s a real issue, I can talk about it without mentioning bad mothers.

You can also talk about it without mentioning present-but-worthless fathers. Hell you just did, as if you were mostly talking about single mothers. Good on you.

It’s pretty obvious though. Once again, this is what the episode is about. Didn’t think to mention it.

So is my take, and I’m only an MRA insofar as many men deserve to be permanently single whether they think they like it or not. They have the right to be forced to fend for themselves(and pay their bills, like, idk, child support) in order to be treated as adults.
