To be fair kids these days are looking older and younger at the same time. My fiance’s daughter is 18 and looks like she’s 14. My sister’s son is 16 and looks like he’s 25 due to his facial hair. I’ve always hated the “you can always tell” mindset because demonstrably no you cannot.

But like, why do children feel the need to scream like they’re being murdered all the time?

I’ve been saying this for years and always get roasted alive for not wanting to shell out ~$500 just to be able to play one fucking game.

The only reason I ever got to play the new god of war games is because I got into a relationship with someone who has a Playstation. If she didn’t have one I’d have never played.

It’s the same way I am with the switch 2. I’m not buying a whole new console just for a new Zelda (which I don’t even like anymore) or potentially a new smash bros.

I’ve felt this way recently regarding the influx of censored posts/memes.

I’ve been here for 3 years now and I’ve seen more self censored shit in the past couple months than I’ve ever seen here before.

I’ve more than once wondered if these posts weren’t getting made by bots and wondered if the people defending self censorship aren’t also bots

I’d rather be woken by and have the ambient noise created by the sounds of nature than keep hearing loud ass cars and machinery everywhere.

See this is one of my favorite aspects of Greek mythology. The fact that gods are openly seen as being flawed by the same things that corrupt humans.

Zeus was a jealous horny corrupt prick. Because that’s how most kings were.

Poseidon was fickle and quick to anger. Because that’s how the seas were.

Hades was dark and cold and terrifying. Because that’s what death was (yes I know thanatos is the true god of death but more so the lighter side of it)

Each god has the flaws of the very part of nature they claim to rule over and I think that’s neat cause most religions try to make their gods seem perfect whereas Greek mythology puts all those flaws on display

They make games where you have to spell words quickly or you lose and that’s how I learned as a kid.

Like one where you’re in a spaceship and have to shoot lasers at asteroids that are coming at your ship. You have to spell the word that’s written on the asteroid to hit it with a laser.

Idk if any of them are free but they’re basically simple coded flash games so I’m sure you could find one on the internet pretty easily
