I bought it on release for PC and had zero issues, which apparently I’m alone lol. But I love anything cyberpunk related, so I’m sure I’m the target audience. Did the one play through, had an awesome time. I’ve been saving a second play through for Phantom Liberty.

I got it on PS5 on release, didn’t follow any hype leading up to it. I was just expecting Witcher 3 in a Cyberpunk world and that’s what I got. Great quest writing, interesting world. Only issues I really had were crashes every few hours.

I loved the game. Been wanting to play through with all the changes so I guess Phantom Liberty will be the time.

im right there with you on the love part of cyberpunk. something about that shit speaks to my soul somehow

ive played thru CP2077 like 3 times and im super pumped about the expansion. i really want it to be good and well liked so we can get more cyberpunk a little faster next time

also, season 2 of the anime when. thats probs the best thing to come out of CDP

Ohhhhh yeah me too on the anime. It’s probably just a one off thing, but I really hope they continue with it.

no doubt, the launch was TRASH

i think they mostly put out a good game but i totes agree. i wont get the expansion until some reviews are out. if its trash again, i can wait

and ya i personally think they are doing a good job with the “universe” stuff. i really liked the story (which i know is kinda controversial), thought keeanu was a inspired decision

and ya the anime ended perfectly and its set up perfectly to be an anthology. lets just explore life in night city and the surrounding world. like a season based on a nomad group or a corpo gone rouge, some shit like that would be awesome for me

but their marketing arm puts the rest of the industry to shame. So much so that I doubt any studio’s devs could have met the promises.

              ya dude fo real

honestly they could never put out another game if they kept up a high quality anime

shit could even make it like a bebop style of thing with one or two ep stories and shit

gah, i just wish there was any info about new animated shit but it is what it is

really hope the expansion meets my admittedly high expectations

I’m so so. Maybe they’ll provide something close to what I thought I was buying a few years ago…

But since it’s CD Project Red I’ll believe the rework it when I see it and I’m not gonna pay 40 dollars to have a look due to a review embargo like with the main game.

My only purchase from CDPR is CP2077 so my experience with them has been exclusively world class bullshit. I don’t understand how people could praise them for being the best video game company or feel hyped for another possible gaming letdown of the decade. In the same decade, lol.

It’s funny because before CP2077, CDPR was the most trusted game dev out there.

In reality, this is the correct attitude towards all game devs. Wait until it’s ready, no preorders, no blind purchases.

I played it on PS5 and honestly had about the same experience as a Bethesda rpg bug wise. That is to say, sure it was buggy but not game breakingly so for me at least.

It was a fantastic game that I played for over 100 hours. I think if they had been able to not launch the ps4 version, the sentiment would have been more in line with CDPR expectations.

It’s a shame what happened to that game as it really is a stellar experience on the right hardware. I’m very excited for Phantom Liberty.
