I thought I’d share my favorite resource for finding workout routines, DAREBEE. It’s completely free and has a bunch of different workouts for all levels. I really enjoy their RPG based workouts.

The best part is most of the workouts are body weight centered, so you don’t even need access to gym equipment to get started.

Darebee is great! On days I’m too lazy to think of what to do, I like to do their workout of the day.

How does it compare to the /r/fitness wiki?

I’m not sure they really are comparable. I’ve never really used the fitness wiki because I find it a bit intimidating from all the options. I think the fitness wiki is more for when you are planning your workouts ahead of time.

With DAREBEE, there is less upfront planning effort required. It’s more of a tool for during your workout. You can just go to the site/one of their apps and do whatever the workout of the day is and they generally have a good progression. If you want to target specific body parts or a specific type of workout you can filter through their library of different routines. Each workout has pictures to show what you are supposed to do, and if that’s not enough, there is a video library demonstrating the exercises. It also has tools to track the number of sets you’ve done and a timer for rest periods/times based exercises.
