The trick isn’t not having a SS#, it’s in spoofing the data. Say you’re John A. Smith with SS# 123-12-1234. Apply for your driver license as John B. Smith, 132-21-1234. Credit card? John C Smith, 112-12-1234.
Not having one raises more red flags than having bad data.
