The fact that an entire country’s debt amounts to Jeff Bezos’ pocket change just goes to show that (a) the poorest countries are way too fucking poor, and (b) billionaires are way too fucking rich.

I wonder if anywhere in Somalia will be livable in 10 years due to the heat.
They propped up a dictator, so they don’t deserve credit for forgiving the debt inherited by the victims.
They should pay Somalia reparations for supporting Barre’s oppression.
