    This is pretty standard stuff. That’s why they ask news stations not to live-coverage school shootings, because it influences more school shootings!

    Same with suicide stuff; it tends to draw more people out who are ideating suicide.

        It’s not an opinion. It’s well defined fact in many studies. That large amounts of media coverage or showing suicides on TV, leads to more suicides. Granted, it really depends on HOW it’s covered.

        Same with school shootings.
