But sometimes having a boring and repetitive task that I can easily double check and fix at the end is nice so that my mind can wonder while still being prodictive.
That is very true, a combination of that and occasional side quests would be very nice.

One time my whole job was just to scrape excess material from little plastic molds the machine spat out. The only side quest was my lunch break in the most depressingly grey break room I’ve ever seen. In the basement. With no natural light.
